Tree-2-Table
Privacy Policy
Effective October 30, 2026
Tree-2-Table is a small, independent woodworking business run by Phil Kouyoumdjian. This policy explains what happens to the information you send through our Request a Quote form. Browsing the rest of the website doesn't require you to give us any personal information.
What we collect
- Contact details: your name and email address, and — if you choose to give them — your phone number and address or delivery location.
- Project details: the type of piece, wood, finish, dimensions, timeframe or target date, and any notes you write.
- Photos: up to 5 optional images you upload, such as the space or inspiration pictures.
- Spam protection: a scrambled code derived from your internet (IP) address, used only to limit repeated submissions. We don't store your IP address itself with your request.
Why we collect it
Only to understand your project, prepare a quote, and contact you about it. We don't sell or rent your information, use it for advertising, or add you to a mailing list.
How it's stored and protected
Requests are stored in a private database and photos in private file storage. Neither is publicly accessible. Information is sent over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection. Only Phil and administrators he explicitly authorizes can view requests, after signing in with a password. There's no public registration. A summary of a new request may be emailed to Phil. That email includes links to your photos which stop working after 7 days.
Who can access it
- Phil and administrators he authorizes.
- Service providers that run the website on our behalf: Lovable, which hosts the website, database, file storage and email delivery, and its infrastructure partners; and Google, which provides Phil's email inbox. They process the information only to provide these services.
- Authorities, only if the law requires it.
How long we keep it
Each quote request and its uploaded photos are deleted automatically 12 months after the date you submitted it. You can ask for earlier deletion at any time. A few limitations apply:
- Emails: request summaries and any emails you exchange with Phil stay in his inbox until he deletes them. If your project goes ahead, he may keep that correspondence as long as needed for the project, warranty questions, or records the law requires.
- Backups: our hosting provider keeps short-term backups for disaster recovery. Deleted information can remain in those backups until they're replaced on the provider's schedule. They aren't used for any other purpose.
- Technical logs: our providers may keep brief server logs, such as the time of a request and connection details, for security and troubleshooting. These are kept for a limited time under their own policies.
Your choices
To see, correct, or delete the information you sent us, or for any privacy question, email philykou@gmail.com. We'll respond within a reasonable time and confirm when your request has been deleted.
Changes
If this policy changes, we'll post the updated version on this page with a new effective date.
